Last Day in Fes | Morocco

We missed the early train to Marrakech so we killed about 2 hours until the next one by visiting the Palais Royale - a grand structure resting a top a hill overlooking the medina. Visitors are not allowed inside so we entertained ourselves by copying the cover of the Lonely Planet guide book.

Apparently, the King of Morocco said that the train stations reflect the state of the country so he wanted visitors to feel welcomed as soon as they step off of a train. Fez station is beautiful, modern and efficient - Morocco could teach the West a thing or two about modern transportation!
