Friday's Frugal Foodie: Bajan Lemonade

So even though I'm stuck inside studying right now I'm distracted by the fact that I'm going home in a week's time. I'm really looking foward to so many things; one of which is sipping on some homemade Bajan lemonade on a beach...
Here's how to make this delicious, old fashioned drink (not to be mistaken for a Sprite, a lime squash or syrup mixed with water which is what some Europeans consider call 'lemonade'):

4-5 Freshly squeezed Green limes
Simple syrup made from 3-4 heaped tablespoons of brown cane sugar
(Boil the sugar in a pot with 2 cups of water)
Dash of Angostura bitters to taste

Let it cool & then serve with lots of ice, preferably crushed to make it slushy. Heaven in a glass
